OpenVario Version v3.22.3 (2025/04/18)

ATTENTION: This is only a preliminary version for deployment of OpenSoar 7.43-2.23 and OpenVario with current XCSoar v7.43 and testing OpenSoar v3.22.3!

OpenSoar at OpenVario 3.22.3-CB2:

CAUTION: Please do not use the online data (from SkySight) in flight with this version; it is unsafe and risks crashing! You can try out the new weather features (SkySight satellite, etc.) in offline mode only ;-)!

• OpenVario CH57 image = ov-ch57 (old name: openvario-57-lvds)
• OpenVario PQ70 image = ov-pq70 (old name: openvario-7-PQ070)
• OpenVario AM70s image = ov-am70s (old name: openvario-7-AM070-DS2)
• OpenVario AM43 image = ov-am43 (old name: openvario-43-rgb)

• Direct Upgrade with USB-Stick:

You have the possibility to upgrade the OpenVario device without removing and inserting of the SD card.The upgrade will be done via USB stick, prepared with a setting like the content of the ZIP file below - of course from the correct hardware! After Upgrade the setting of the device should be the same like before.

A description of the upgrade functionality can be found in the pdf file: 'OpenVario-Upgrade' (unfortunately currently only available in German)!
